Thirsty People Sitting At Wells: Certification in Stepfamily Ministry
We have presented this certification course in the past at AMFM conferences, and various churches around the county. The course examines key aspects of ministry development including the key needs of non-traditional families, team building, goal setting, resources, program development and evaluation. and Family Leaders
Jeff and Judi are passionate about marriage and family
ministry in the local church, and making a difference in our community. If you

Through a Child's Eyes Children of Divorce Seminar
Free event: August 28th 9 AM-Noon in Mod E on the Pantano Christian Church campus (Also Feb. 7. 2011). Special workshops for children and teens will feature age-appropriate discussions and valuable coping tools. Childcare will be available for those 4 and under.
Before I Do Weekends
Looking for a place to prepare for marriage? PCC will host three special weekends in 2010 and early 2011. The next weekend is May 7-8th, followed by Sept 10-11, 2009 and Jan 14-14, 2011. Listen to real couples share their experiences and discover God's plan for your marriage.
Single and Single-Parent Conference
Free event. October 8-90th, 2010, hosted by Pantano Christian Church in Tucson, AZ. Last year's conference was a huge success. This year will be even bigger and better. This event is for all singles and will feature speakers, break-out sessions, worship, food, exhibition booths and opportunities to connect. This will be "the" event in So. Arizona So, don't miss it. The event is free; lunch and child care available for a nominal fee. Conference schedule: Friday: 6:30-9:30 PM; Saturday: 8:30-3:30. Attendees can register Friday evening or Saturday morning.
Developing Healthy Relationships
Based on their book, Developing Healthy
Relationships, Jeff and Judi and teach an ongoing seminar on key principles
for being a healthy single adult. The workshop theme is that personal spiritual
and emotional health is the key to healthy relationships. Classes presented at

November 5
-6 Pantano Christian Church will be
hosting the Association of Marriage and Family Ministries first ever regional
conference in the state of Arizona (called
Connect!!). Friday night,
well-known Christian comedian Tim Hawkins will entertain the whole family. All day Saturday, starting at 9 AM,
those wanting to expand their marriage and family ministry skills will be
treated to workshops on cutting edge marriage and family topics. Contact AMFM

Ministry Opportunities
Stepfamily Ministry Development
Jeff and Judi are available to meet with your church and staff to provide a needs assessment and help develop a ministry to single- parents and stepfamilies that matches your church's vision and mission. Our goal is to serve God and the local church.
Stepcouple Intensives
Jeff and Judi will be leading several weekend intensives in 2009. The format will be Friday evening and all-day Saturday at a local bed and breakfast and will be limited to four couples per weekend. If you are looking to strengthen your relationship and understand the challenges of marriage in a stepfamily, then plan a weekend with the Parziales.
Peer Counselor Training
Jeff had developed a training program at PCC with 13 active counselors and growing. Peer counselors are laypeople who have received the equivalent of two years of focused training in short-term spiritual and emotional care. If your church is interested in developing such a program, contact Jeff at PCC.
Seminars and Workshops
We are available to teach and speak on all topics represented in our books, and Jeff is available for preaching engagements.
PREPARE© training.
Jeff is a certified trainer and available to teach classes, big or small. This training is ideal for pastors, counselors or mentors. Prepare is a great tool in marriage and remarriage preparation. Jeff is also available for pre-marital counseling, utilizing PREPARE.
Single Parent and Stepfamily Ministry Network
We get calls from various parts of the county looking for counseling or ministry help. InStep has therefore begun the process of identifying and collecting information on local ministries. If you know of a ministry in your "neck of the woods" that would benefit from participating in this network, please email us the contact information.
